Guitar Info

Now I'm sure many of you will have seen Brian Eastwood's Dali-esque take on the classic design of the Fender Strat, the appropriately-named Bender Distortocaster, but you don't often see these come up for sale on eBay, so if you're looking for something a bit weird but which will also play beautifully, snap it up now while you can!

On the left: This 1967 Messenger Panther guitar, as used by Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad, is one rare beastie and bidding on this example on eBay is currently at $1,499.99 (approximately £762.38).

On the right: Those masters of the retro reissue, Eastwood Guitars, have just released a Messenger Tribute guitar for about half the price of the example on the left, and which as you can see is available in a very attractive greenburst.

Eastwood are to be congratulated for reinviograting and keeping these funky old guitar designs alive.

Brian Eastwood Guitars - Brian Eastwood is one of the UK's top luthiers with over 30 years experience. He also has a warped sense of humour when it comes to some of his guitar designs, such as the Bender Distortocaster seen here!
